“CSC” stands for Card Security Code. It is used to enhance the security of credit card purchases.
For MasterCard, Visa, and Discover credit or debit cards, it is a 3-digit number printed on the back of your card. It appears after and to the right of your card number.
On American Express cards, the Card Security Code is a 4-digit number printed on the front of your card. It appears after and to the right of your card number.
